Visiting St Margaret's Church

The church itself is a working parish church, not a museum, and is cared for by a separate group of volunteers. It is generally open to visitors during daylight hours. Please respect any notices on the door, keep dogs on a lead in the churchyard, and leave the well and the wildflowers as you found them. For matters relating to services, weddings or christenings, please contact the parish office directly rather than us.

For travel writers and editors

If you are working on a piece about Oxford, the Cotswolds or quieter corners of southern England and would like local input, we are happy to help where we can. Please include a brief on the angle, the publication and your deadline.

For local businesses

If you run a pub, inn, garden, country house or independent transport company in Oxfordshire and you think we might be interested in writing about you, by all means introduce yourselves. We do not accept paid placements, but we do listen, and we occasionally visit.
